Stuart Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer
Stuart has over 25 years of commercial finance and banking experience. Most recently, he served as President of Great American Group’s specialty lending division, GA Capital, and Chief Investment Officer of Great American Capital Partners. Mr. Armstrong was also a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Tygris Commercial Finance and President of Tygris Corporate Finance. Prior to that, Mr. Armstrong spent over 12 years at GE Capital, where he served as Senior Managing Director and leader of GE Corporate Lending’s Vertical Industries. Stuart holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Jim Hogan, Chief Commercial Officer
Jim has over 25 years of commercial lending experience. Prior to joining Great Rock Capital he worked with Regions Bank, where he served as Managing Director of Retail Finance. Prior to Regions Bank, he spent over 15 years at GE Capital Corporate Lending where he served as Commercial Leader of Restructuring and Retail Finance. He has also held positions at ING Capital, Heller Financial, and Deloitte & Touche, and has worked on a number of origination, credit and capital markets teams focused on special situations, including restructurings, leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions and recapitalizations. Mr. Hogan holds an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Columbia University.

Gerard Hanabergh, Chief Risk Officer
Gerard joined Great Rock from White Oak Commercial Finance where he was the EVP and Senior Risk Officer for Asset-Based Lending. Prior to White Oak, Mr. Hanabergh has held Senior Risk Positions with Ares Commercial Finance, First Capital, RBS Citizens and GE Capital, leading teams for restructuring, syndications, and underwriting in addition to portfolio management. Gerard is a graduate of Providence College with a B.S. in Business Management and received an M.B.A in Finance from Pace University. He is active in the Commercial Finance Association, Turnaround Management Association, and volunteers as a coach for special needs children with North East Westchester Special Recreation.

Jenn Cronin, Managing Director, Marketing and Business Development
Jenn joins Great Rock Capital from MBIA Inc. where she spent the first 16 years of her career. Most recently, Ms. Cronin was a Vice President of New Business Development for the Public Finance division. Ms. Cronin brings a very diversified skill set as she held various roles with increasing responsibility in marketing, business development, investor relations, and risk management. Ms. Cronin received her M.B.A in Investment Management and B.A. in Business Administration from Pace University.

Jared Grabow, Managing Director, Originations
Jared joins Great Rock Capital with almost 20 years of experience, most recently as a Director at WM Capital Partners, where he focused on distressed debt and real estate. He previously held positions at GE and Doral Bank, where he worked in lending, business development, and loan workouts/restructures. Mr. Grabow earned his M.B.A. with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and his B.A. in International Finance and Spanish Literature from Austin College.

Edison Lopez, Senior Vice President, Finance
Edison joins Great Rock Capital with over 14 years of experience, most recently as the Vice President of Finance at Centre Lane Partners. Jon Michaels, Associate, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Jon has joined as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Mr. Michaels was previously part of General Electric Corporation’s Financial Management Program, in which he served as an Integrated Systems Analyst and Supply Chain Operations Analyst. Mr. Michaels received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Vermont.

Micheal Molenda, Managing Director, Originations
Mike brings over 25 years of experience to his position at Great Rock Capital. He most recently served as Managing Director at Regions Business Capital, where he led the company’s Midwest office. Prior to Regions Business Capital, Mr. Molenda was a Senior Vice President in Leveraged Finance at Capital One and led originations at Ally Commercial Finance, Merrill Lynch Capital and GMAC Commercial Finance. Mr. Molenda earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Michigan.

Steven Parker, Managing Director, Originations
Steven joins Great Rock Capital with over 25 years of experience, most recently as a Vice President at Callidus Capital, where he focused on middle market lending in the western U.S. and Canada. He previously held positions at GE, CIT and PNC, where he served as a Team Leader for the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada regions. Mr. Parker began his career in asset-based lending with the National Bank of Canada. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association. Mr. Parker earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Victoria.

Lori Potter, Managing Director, Originations
Lori joined Great Rock Capital with 30 years of commercial lending experience. Prior to joining Great Rock Capital, she served as Managing Director of Originations at Monroe Capital LLC, securing financing for private equity-backed and non-sponsored transactions. Prior to Monroe Capital, she held positions at GMAC (now Ally Financial Inc.), GE Capital, National Bank of Canada and Merrill Lynch. She is a former Board Member of the Commercial Finance Association and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and is active in the Carolinas Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Ms. Potter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from SUNY Buffalo.

Christina Zielinski, Vice President, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Christina joined Great Rock Capital as Vice President of Underwriting to evaluate, structure, execute and monitor investments. She previously served as Assistant Vice President, Natural Resources, Credit Risk at Barclays, where she led underwriting and due diligence for new clients. Prior to Barclays, she held positions at Louis Dreyfus Commodities and GE Capital. Ms. Zielinski holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
