Stuart Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer
Stuart has over 25 years of commercial finance and banking experience. Most recently, he served as President of Great American Group’s specialty lending division, GA Capital, and Chief Investment Officer of Great American Capital Partners. Mr. Armstrong was also a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Tygris Commercial Finance and President of Tygris Corporate Finance. Prior to that, Mr. Armstrong spent over 12 years at GE Capital, where he served as Senior Managing Director and leader of GE Corporate Lending’s Vertical Industries. Stuart holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Jim Hogan, Chief Commercial Officer
Jim has over 25 years of commercial lending experience. Prior to joining Great Rock Capital he worked with Regions Bank, where he served as Managing Director of Retail Finance. Prior to Regions Bank, he spent over 15 years at GE Capital Corporate Lending where he served as Commercial Leader of Restructuring and Retail Finance. He has also held positions at ING Capital, Heller Financial, and Deloitte & Touche, and has worked on a number of origination, credit and capital markets teams focused on special situations, including restructurings, leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions and recapitalizations. Mr. Hogan holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.

Jenn Cronin, Managing Director, Marketing and Business Development
Jenn joins Great Rock Capital from MBIA Inc. where she spent the first 16 years of her career. Most recently, Ms. Cronin was a Vice President of New Business Development for the Public Finance division. Ms. Cronin brings a very diversified skill set as she held various roles with increasing responsibility in marketing, business development, investor relations, and risk management. Ms. Cronin received her M.B.A in Investment Management and B.A. in Finance from Pace University.

Ronnie Bloom, Managing Director, Originations
Ronnie joins Great Rock Capital with 20 years of asset-based lending origination and credit experience. He brings strong and in-depth banking and financial expertise from his origination roles at both Wells Fargo Bank and the Royal Bank of Canada, plus his role as Chief Financial Officer of a middle market business. Ronnie earned his B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and his M.B.A. in Finance from McGill University, Montreal.

Jim Clifton, Managing Director, Originations
Jim joins Great Rock Capital with over 15 years of experience, most recently as a Senior Vice President at PNC Bank, N.A., where he focused on originating asset-based and cash flow credit facilities within the PNC Business Credit division. He previously held positions with NXT Capital and GE Capital, where he focused on originating both asset-based and cash flow lending transactions with middle market companies. Mr. Clifton earned his M.B.A. with Honors from The University of Chicago and his B.A. with a major in Finance from Marquette University.

Jared Grabow, Managing Director, Originations
Jared joins Great Rock Capital with almost 20 years of experience, most recently as a Director at WM Capital Partners, where he focused on distressed debt and real estate. He previously held positions at GE and Doral Bank, where he worked in lending, business development, and loan workouts/restructures. Randy Lederman, Managing Director, Originations
Randy joins Great Rock Capital to source new opportunities and build relationships in the northeast region of the United States. He brings 20 years of experience in business development, leveraged finance, and restructuring, most recently as director of business development at AloStar Capital Finance for the New York City region. In addition, he worked at Cowen Inc. and various middle market investment banks, beginning his career as an analyst in Bank of America’s Liability Management Group. Randy earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan, and is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, Secured Finance Network, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Steven Parker, Managing Director, Originations
Steven joins Great Rock Capital with over 25 years of experience, most recently as a Vice President at Callidus Capital, where he focused on middle market lending in the western U.S. and Canada. He previously held positions at GE, CIT and PNC, where he served as a Team Leader for the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada regions. Mr. Parker began his career in asset-based lending with the National Bank of Canada. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association. Lori Potter, Managing Director, Originations
Lori joined Great Rock Capital with 30 years of commercial lending experience. Prior to joining Great Rock Capital, she served as Managing Director of Originations at Monroe Capital LLC, securing financing for private equity-backed and non-sponsored transactions. Prior to Monroe Capital, she held positions at GMAC (now Ally Financial Inc.), GE Capital, National Bank of Canada and Merrill Lynch. She is a former Board Member of the Commercial Finance Association and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and is active in the Carolinas Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Christina Zielinski, Senior Vice President, Lead Underwriter
Christina joined Great Rock Capital as Vice President of Underwriting to evaluate, structure, execute and monitor investments. She previously served as Assistant Vice President, Natural Resources, Credit Risk at Barclays, where she led underwriting and due diligence for new clients. Prior to Barclays, she held positions at Louis Dreyfus Commodities and GE Capital. Ms. Zielinski holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Tom Keefe, Vice President, Portfolio Management
Tom joined Great Rock Capital as Vice President of Portfolio Management with over 18 years of lending, risk management, and financial advisory experience, most recently as a Director and Team Leader at CIT Group, where he managed a diverse portfolio of loans and leases to middle-market companies. Tom previously held positions at American Capital, CRG, Houlihan Lokey, Imperial Capital, Huron Consulting Group, J.P. Morgan and RBS. Izabel Leal-Ross, Assistant Vice President, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Izabel joined Great Rock Capital as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Ms. Leal-Ross previously served as an Associate of GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services division, where she was part of the global markets deal execution team. Prior to GE, Izabel worked at the International Finance Corporation, structuring transactions in the infrastructure sector. Izabel holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Economics from PUC-RIO.
Jon Michaels, Senior Associate, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Jon has joined as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Mr. Michaels was previously part of General Electric Corporation’s Financial Management Program, in which he served as an Integrated Systems Analyst and Supply Chain Operations Analyst. Jack Penzi, Senior Associate, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Jack joined Great Rock Capital as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Mr. Penzi was previously part of the Advisory – Forensic Services team at PwC in New York City. There, he focused on claim and dispute resolution as well as forensic accounting services, including the financial analysis and quantification of business economic losses. Stuart Prevo, Associate, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Stuart joined Great Rock Capital as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Previously, Mr. Prevo was part of the Debt Private Placements Credit Research group at Genworth Financial. There, he served on the underwriting and portfolio surveillance team with a sector focus on building materials, REITs, and consumer products. Stuart began his career at Genworth Financial as a member of the Finance Development Program. Stuart holds a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Connecticut.

Rijvee Shishir, Associate, Underwriting and Portfolio Management
Rijvee joined the underwriting and portfolio management team in 2019. Prior to joining Great Rock Capital, Rijvee was a member of the underwriting team at FGI Finance, where he focused on asset-based working capital facilities. He began his underwriting career in asset-based lending at GE Capital as a field examiner and then joined The Credit Junction, focused on underwriting and portfolio management, as well as automation of due diligence and monitoring processes. Rijvee received a B.B.A. in Finance from Baruch College.
