Matt joined Great Rock in 2022 and is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and building relationships in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Matt brings over 20 years of credit and lending experience, most recently as an SVP at Huntington National Bank, where he primarily focused on originating asset-based transactions within the Huntington Business Credit group. In addition, Matt previously held origination roles with UMB Bank, First Capital, and Guaranty Business Credit. He is a former board member of the Secured Finance Network for both the Atlanta and Charlotte chapters, including a past President of the Atlanta Chapter. Matt holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Georgia.
Matt and his family reside in Atlanta, GA. He and his wife love to travel and embrace adventure anywhere and everywhere. When not out exploring the world, you can find Matt on the golf course striving to perfect his swing…the one exception to tee time is game time for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
